Terms of Service

Effective 30 July 2026

Tallyhaus is operated from Australia. Tallyhaus is a trading name, not a registered business name. These terms govern your use of Tallyhaus. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you have questions, contact us at hello@tally-haus.com.

This document reflects Tallyhaus's current single-venue launch scope. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice; we recommend reviewing it with a qualified professional for your specific circumstances.

The service

Tallyhaus is a hospitality operations platform that helps businesses automate daily cash-ups, reconciliation, staff and security hour logging, shift reporting, wage-to-revenue analytics, task management, and budget tracking. We may update, add, or remove features over time.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may only use Tallyhaus for lawful business operations and you agree not to misuse the service, upload content you do not have rights to, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform. You are responsible for the data you and your team enter and for ensuring you have the right to collect and store staff and operational information you input.

Account closure and data deletion are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not promise immediate deletion; verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days after identity verification, subject to legally required retention of 5 to 7 years for certain records.

Billing

Tallyhaus is offered on a simple monthly plan at $4.99 per month for one hospitality business, unless another written arrangement is agreed.

Pricing may change in future. We will provide notice before pricing changes take effect for existing customers, where required by law or platform rules.

At launch, Tallyhaus supports one venue per business. We may introduce multi-venue functionality in the future; any changes will be reflected in these terms.

Billing is charged in Australian dollars (AUD). On iPhone and iPad, paid access is handled through Apple’s in-app subscription system and managed through your Apple ID subscriptions. You are responsible for keeping your billing details current and cancelling if you no longer wish to use the service.

Award rates and reference rates (reporting only)

The Australian award rate figures, penalty multipliers, and any international statutory minimum-wage reference packs included in Tallyhaus are provided for reporting and estimation purposes only. They are general references and not a substitute for professional payroll, industrial, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying actual pay rates, classifications, and compliance with the relevant award or jurisdiction before paying staff. Tallyhaus does not process payroll.

Limitation of liability

Tallyhaus is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of revenue, data, or profits arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions made based on reports Tallyhaus produces.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or the service will be resolved by the courts of South Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
